How to calculate CBSE class 12th percentage? It is very easy to calculate the overall percentage for CBSE class 12th, just follow few simple rules. If you have only 5 subjects then the average marks for all the subjects will be calculated and if you have an extra subject that makes a total of 6 subjects then the average of best 5 is calculated. It is mandatory to consider the marks of English and Maths. The subjects that also include the marks of practical in that case their sum as a whole is calculated. Another point to note is that- • When taking admission in Delhi University, the marks of best 4 subjects are taken in count which does not include vocational subjects such as physical education/home science. • When applying for JEE and Engineering, calculating the marks of PCM and English along with one more subject is compulsory.
