What are SSC CGL Tier1, 2, 3 and 4 exams? Very soon the official notifications of SSC CGL will be released on its official website. The staff selection commission conducts SSC CGL every year to select candidates for various types of groups such as Group B and Group C posts. The candidates are recruited to various departments/ministries/organizations of the central government. As per the standards of eligibility the one who holds a Bachelor’s degree in any stream or discipline can apply for this exam that is held in four tiers- Tier-1, Tier-2, Tier-3 and Tire-4. Application fee for General category is INR 100 whereas the reserved category and female candidates are exempted from any type of fee. Important info about Tier 1, 2, 3 and 4  Tier-1 will be held in June 2019 and will be conducted in multiple slots. It will be Computer based exam with objective type of questions.  Tier-2 will come of 200 marks comprising of 2 papers, one will be of Quantitative aptitude and other will be of English.  Tier-3 consists of descriptive type of exam and will test the writing skills of the candidates in English/Hindi.  Tier-4 is specially conducted for the post of Assistant Audit Officer. - Study24x7
