Competitive Examinations for Class 5 The following is the list of competitive exams for Class 5: - NSO: The National Science Olympiad is a national level science exam conducted for students from classes 1 to 12 by the Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF). The study matter is based on the curriculum prescribed by the CBSE and ICSE boards, and the top rankers are awarded scholarships. - IMO: The International Mathematics Olympiad is a competitive exam conducted to identify and encourage the mathematical creativity of children, both in India and abroad. All students studying in classes 1 to 12 from recognised schools are eligible. The subject matter is based on the curriculum prescribed by the CBSE and ICSE boards, and the top rankers per class are awarded scholarships. NSTSE: The National Level Science Talent Search Exam is organised by the Unified Council for students from classes 2 to 12. It is one of the most popular scholarship examinations conducted in India. - NSEJS: The National Standard Exam in Junior Science is jointly conducted by the IAPT (Indian Association of Physics Teachers) and HBCSE (Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Examination).
