  • It is gonna be one long and exhausting journey, so you must first brace yourself up mentally and keep yourself motivated throughout!

School years are vital for the basic and overall development of the child, which is something that should not be disrupted by any anyone or anything. So, in my opinion, it only seems fair to indulge and invest your energy into an exam as heavy as UPSC during or after your matriculation.

NCERT books are a good way to start with. UPSC tests your knowledge on some core subjects like history, geography, economics, science, etc. Hence, as a student you must focus on these very subjects during your school days.

Another important aspect of the UPSC exam is the accuracy and fluency in writing. Practice your writing assignments sincerely, with putting main focus on letter, essay and summary writing. If you build a command on this, it will surely help you in the mains writing exams.

Another important habit is to read newspapers and keep oneself updated with the lastest happenings in and around the world.

Do not burden yourself as it will only burn your fuel rapidly. You have enough time, so go slowly yet strategically and do not forget to enjoy your school life in the process!

    Best wishes!
