Oriental Insurance Company Limited (OICL) is one of India's oldest insurance companies. Incorporated in 1947, this company operated from 1956 to 1973 as a branch of LIC of India. In 2003, its control was shifted from General Insurance to the Central government. The OICL assistant and the OICL Administrative Assistant Officers are also the two key roles in growing the company to its current level. OICL conducts the OICL AO Exam each year with the aim of recruiting candidates for the post of Officers.

OICL AO Exam 2020 Eligibility Criteria:
OICL AO eligibility requirements are the minimum prerequisite based on age and educational qualifications that the applicants must meet before filling out the application form. Applicants who do not meet OICL's eligibility requirements can be turned down at any later point in the selection process.
The applicants must be between the age of 21 and 30. However, different age relaxations are given to the candidates reserved for the group. The table below includes the relaxations of age according to caste categories.

OICL AO 2020 Application Process:
The application form will be published online by OICL. Applicants should check the official OICL AO Exam Notification for more info. Applicants who satisfy the eligibility criteria can fill the application form along with the application payment details. Applicants must fill in the appropriate information on the registration form. Applicants should have an active email address, phone number, scanned image, and signatures before filling out the application.
Applicants must click on the registration link to fill out the application and fill in the details such as name, email ID, etc. A registration ID and password will be produced that will be sent on your mail and mobile to the candidates.
Applicants will later view their application form using these logs in detail. Applicants should also submit their scanned image and the specified dimension signature along with filling out the information. Applicants must review the application form before actually sending OICL's application form because no changes or corrections can be made until the application has been submitted. The review authority does not approve OICL's application form until the fee for the test is charged. OICL's application fee will be determined by the exam conducting authority according to the candidates' category.

OICL AO Prelims Admit Card:
The prelims admit card of the OICL AO exam will be given to all those applicants who filled the application along with the payment of the registration fees within the allocated time. Through online mode, applicants can access the OICL AO exam admit card using their login details. OICL's prelims admit card will contain the candidates' name, roll number, photo, date of examination and time, and the exam center where the prelims examination will be held. Applicants need to check the admit card for all information and take a printout. On the day of the exam, the applicants must carry the admit card to the exam center. Applicants must bear one of the required proofs of identity along with the admit card.
OICL AO Mains Admit Card:
Applicants who have attended the prelims exam will be able to apply for the mains exam. Candidates can download OICL's mains admit card online by filling in their enrolment login and name in the admit card login window. OICL's mains exam will indicate the candidates' names, photo, roll number, time and date of exams, and the candidates' corresponding center where the exam will take place. Applicants must carry the admit card with one of the specified proofs of photo identification to the mains exam center.
OICL AO Salary Structure:
OICL AO’s basic salary is Rs. 32795-(1610)-55335-(17454)-62315.
This mean that the OICL AO will receive an initial Rs 32795 Basic Pay. They will also earn extra benefits and will have a 14-year annual raise of Rs 1610 along with the salary.
OICL AO 2020 Selection Process:

Prelims Exam Pattern:
The prelims test will be performed in online mode, as per the OICL exam pattern. The total number of questions asked during the prelims test will be 100 divided into three parts-English with 30 questions, Logical Skill, and Quantitative Aptitude with 35 questions each. Each issue shall carry 1 mark each. There will be negative marking where it will subtract one-fourth of the marks assigned to that question. If the questions are left unresolved no marks will be deducted. The OICL exam will be performed both in English and Hindi (except the English language paper).
