A comprehensive guide of IBPS PO

Bank Po 24X7 Published on 03 June 2020

The IBPS PO exam is seen as a beneficial test for candidates who want to become members of the banking sector. Over eight lakh applicants apply for the examination each year. The competition is challenging, as the number of openings is small and the number of applicants is high. IBPS PO 2020 is scheduled to take place on 3, 4, and 10 October, and the key review will take place on 28 November. The candidates must also train concurrently for both exams. A good plan and simple definitions help candidates distinguish them from the crowd.

English Language:

For pre- and main exams, the English language section is almost the same. Candidates will read newspapers and magazines to mark good marks in this section. They should also brush up their grammar and vocabulary.

Reasoning Ability:

Reasoning Ability is a score section. Applicants can prepare this section by completing previous years' question papers and mock tests. Practice jigsaw puzzles and seating arrangements as they cover a large portion of the topics. In addition, increase your command on other topics such as Coding-Decoding, Inequality, Syllogism.

General Awareness and Description Section:

Read newspapers, magazines, and books to prepare both sections, as well as to help candidates navigate current affairs and grammatical knowledge

Quantitative Aptitude:

Applicants should clarify their basic concepts. They should carry out quizzes on a daily basis. The majority of questions are asked from the Data Interpretation, therefore, the candidates should give special attention to this subject. Revise short tricks on a regular basis and try sectional tests to improve performance. They should learn short cut tricks for calculations such as squares, cubes, percentage values, etc.

Descriptive Writing:

It is another section in IBPS PO Mains consisting of 25 marks where the student is to write an article and a letter. Reading the newspaper will help you get to grips with this section.
