All About SSC CGL 2020
The CGL which is the Combined Graduate Level Exam is conducted annually by Staff Selection Commission the SSC. The exam consists of a total of four phases, where each phase needs to be cleared depending upon the requirement of different posts. SSC CGL 2020 Exam will be conducted in four tiers i.e. Tier–1, Tier-2, Tier-3, and Tier-4.
Tier-1 - objective multiple-choice questions
Tier-2 - objective multiple-choice questions
Tier-3 - Descriptive Paper in English and Hindi
Tier-4 -Skill Test: Data Entry Speed Test (DEST)/ Computer Proficiency Test (CPT) and Document Verification
According to the latest SSC CGL 2020 notification the SSC CGL Tier-1 Exam will be held from 2nd March to 11th March 2020 and 22nd June 2020 to 25th June 2020 are the dates for Tier-2 CGL Exam in online mode. SSC CGL 2020 notification for recruitment was released on 22nd October 2019.
Tier- 1 objective exam will be conducted in an online mode within a time duration of 60 minutes
Tier- 2 is also an objective exam consisting of 4 papers; each paper will be in the duration of 60 minutes in an online mode
Tier - 3 is a descriptive exam also within the duration of 60 minutes which be taking place in a pen and paper mode
Tier- 4 of the SSC CGL Exam consists of skill tests required for certain government posts and the last is the document verification procedure.
The other tiers include skill tests, typing tests, and analytical tests.
To score well and crack the SSC CGL 2020, the candidate must follow a particular strategy. Practicing and preparing in a certain way regularly can make it easy for a student to clear the exam. Creating a certain study plan is a must which can also be a bit difficult as there are many subjects to cover.
