UP TGT Exam Pattern 2021

The UP TGT consists of a written examination where the total marks given to this exam are 500. Whereas the marks allotted to Shiksha Mitra is 465. The type of paper will be objective in nature where the total duration of the paper will be 2 hours. The number of questions asked in this paper will be 125 and there will be no negative marking for this paper.

UP TGT Eligibility Criteria 2021 

The eligibility criteria for the UP TGT exam depend on three main factors i.e. age, education qualification, and nationality. Let us take a look at each of these criteria below.

Age:

Candidates applying for the UP TGT exam should be minimum of 21 years of age. 

Educational qualification

Candidates should have completed 4 years integrated course at the NCERT Regional Education college. The minimum marks required in the graduation degree should be 50 percent. Along with this, candidates should be proficient in both Hindi and English language. 

Nationality

Only those candidates who are a citizen of India are allowed to apply for this exam. Along with this, Tibetan refugees who migrated to India before 1 January 1962 are allowed to appear for this exam. 

UP TGT Online Application Process 2021

The UP TGT form is available online. Candidates who wish to appear for this exam must fill the complete online application form and submit it before the due date. The online application form will be made available on their official website. You need to enter all the correct details on the form and submit it with the application form fees. 

Note that after filling the online application form, candidates must keep an eye on the official portal of UP TGT to receive further updates on the examination. 

UP TGT Admit Card 2021

Unlike the application form, the admit card will be made available online. Candidates need to simply log into their website and enter their registration number along with their credentials to check and download their admit cards. Note that candidates need to download the admit cards before their UP TGT exam as they need to carry and submit the admit card to the reporting invigilator during their examination. 

UP TGT Vacancy 2021 

UP TGT has already announced the UP TGT vacancy 2021 on their online portal. As per their website, around 15, 198 vacancies have been released for both TGT and PGT posts. Whereas for TGT itself, 12603 posts has been declared for both male and female

The UP TGT salary will be decided based on the 7th pay commission. The salary for UP TGT varies between 44, 900 - 1,42,000. In addition to this, they also receive house rent allowance (varies per city), dearness allowance (17%), and other facilities under the government.
