NTPC is one of the top PSU companies in India. The primary eligibility of this company is for the candidates who have good GATE scores. Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC):
The main criteria of this company are for the candidates to score good GATE marks. If the candidates clear that, they are called for an interview round followed by an academic record check then the final selection list is displayed. The primary eligibility here is the good GATE scores followed by the Personal Interview Round. 75% weightage will be given to GATE scores and 25% will be given to the Personal Interview Round. BHEL only recruit candidates based on the Mechanical and Electrical Branch. The entry position here is Engineer Trainee.

- Graduate in the field of Electrical, Mechanical, Civil or Chemical Engineering from a recognized university.

The Defense Research and Development Organisation (DRDO):
The main eligibility for candidates here is good GATE scores followed by a Personal Interview. DRDO hires only graduate engineers for the post of Scientist ‘B’.

The candidates must score 60% marks in the qualifying exam.
