Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT), is a MBA entrance exam conducted by IIFT, one of the prestigious business schools in India. The test is conducted for admission into the Masters of Business Administration (International Business) management program, offered at its Delhi, Kolkata and Kakinada campus. More than 50,000 students appeared for the exam from across the country. The exam is conducted across 200 cities in Indian in an online format. The question paper consists of General knowledge, Quantitative ability, Data interpretation, logical reasoning and English.
IIFT accepts foreign/NRI/PIO candidates for admission on the basis of GMAT score. Candidates belonging to this category can apply for IIFT admission till March 31, 2021.
IIFT Exam Pattern
IIFT is an examination that consists of four sections mainly English, Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning, Quantitative ability and General Knowledge. The mode of exam will be online and the duration will be two hours. The question paper will have about 110 questions of moderate to high difficulty level. There is no sectional time limit. IIFT Exam Eligibility Criteria
- The candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
- Candidates in their final year of graduation can also apply.
- There is no age limit prescribed for the admission.
IIFT Exam 2021: Important Dates

Top Colleges Accepting IIFT Scores

IIFT 2021 Admission Process
The IIFT admission process includes various rounds of shortlisting and selection of candidates. To know more about the IIFT admission and selection process, read below:
- Candidates who clear the IIFT exam cut-offs are further called for Essay Writing, GD (Group Discussion) and PI (Personal Interview) rounds.
2. For Essay Writing, candidates are provided a topic related to General or business affairs. The average time allotted to draft an essay is 20 minutes.
3. In GD round, the candidates are divided into groups of 10-12 and given a topic. Candidates are then expected to take initiative, communicate efficiently and present their ideas effectively.
4. Last round is the PI round where the panelist asks questions to the candidates. The final result is communicated to the candidates through email.
IIFT Exam Day Guidelines
IIFT exam 2021 will be held from 10 am to 12 noon. IIFT question paper has 110 questions in MCQ format. Listed below are some dos and don’ts of IIFT exam 2021.
Do's:
- Reach the IIFT exam center two hours before the exam for identification and proof verification process.
- Carry two copies of original print out of the IIFT admit card.
- Carry a passport size photo (preferably the same as uploaded with the application form) to paste in the attendance sheet at the exam center.
- Carry a photo ID like, Voter ID, Passport, College ID, Driving License, PAN Card (original and photocopy).
Don'ts:
- Do not reach your IIFT exam center after the reporting time. You will not be allowed to enter the exam hall after that.
- Do not carry electronic items like calculator, digital watch, mobile phone, Ipad, written material, etc.
- Do not carry food items and any item containing metal.
- Do not wear any accessory or outfit having metal in it.
