The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) conducts various entrance examinations for Arts/ Humanities, Medical Sciences and Engineering. To gain admission to top colleges and universities, students need to clear these examinations. There are certain exams that a student can give to gain admission to top colleges or universities. Below is the list of competitive exams for commerce students that the students undertake.  

Government Competitive exams after 12th Commerce

Students can apply for various government competitive exams after 12th commerce. Government jobs have their own benefits and policies until one gets retired. There are some main exams that the student can give in order to apply for government jobs.

However, there are other entrance exams for commerce after 10th. These exams can be applied when you have given the 10th boards. There are majorly 4 – 5 exams that you can give after 10th. These exams are:

1. KVPY (Kishore Vigyan Protsahan Yojana)

It is a science-based entrance examination conducted by the Department of Science and Technology. Students can apply for this exam after the 10th or 12th, whenever they wish to pursue this course.

1. Indian National Mathematical Olympiad (INMO)

As the name suggests, it is a maths exam but aims at science too. This exam is sometimes organized by the schools themselves, but students can also apply from outside after their 10th or 12th.

1. National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET)

This exam is conducted by the CBSE board for the MBBS course. Students can get admission to the top colleges if they start preparing from the 10th standard.

1. Joint Entrance Examination (JEE)

JEE Mains and Advanced exams are for admission in engineering courses. Students can apply after the 10th standard but they have to start preparing well in advance as this exam is ranged from medium to difficult. 

Professional Courses after 12th Commerce

There are certain professional courses after 12th commerce that you can apply for. These courses will help you in shaping your future. These courses are further helpful in opening up a wide variety of job opportunities. Below are some of the professional courses with their time duration. 

Now students here ponder over a question i.e. is there any entrance exam for 11th class commerce? Well, there are entrance exams for class 11th in the commerce stream. The above-mentioned exams can be given after the 10th, 11th and 12th classes. There are no different exams for class 11th. Every student who wishes to apply to government or private colleges has to give these examinations. These exams can be a turning point in a student’s life if they score a good percentage.  

However, there are some competitive exams for commerce students class 11th. Some of the exams are National Talent Scholarship Award Examination (NTSAE), All India Meritorious Scholarship Test, National Scholarship Exam and many more.
